Experience the Heart of Rural Life

As part of its agro-tourism initiatives, Sarvodaya offers visitors the opportunity to engage directly in agricultural activities alongside rural farmers who depend on farming for their livelihoods. In some farming communities, local farmers build tree huts to sleep in at night and protect their crops from wild animals. Visitors can stay in these tree huts, keeping watch and experiencing the authentic challenges of rural farm life.

In addition to crop cultivation, visitors can participate in rearing cows and other farm animals, such as goats, poultry, and buffalo, which are an essential part of village life and the rural economy. This allows them to gain hands-on experience in animal care and understand the integral role of livestock in sustainable agriculture.

Guests also enjoy locally prepared meals and traditional products made on-site, and they actively take part in various farming tasks such as land preparation, natural fertilization, and harvesting. Through this immersive experience, visitors develop a deeper appreciation for traditional agricultural practices and the resilience of rural communities.
